If little goes to bed at 8pm and I fall asleep by 11 or 11:30 then I feel I have accomplished a great thing.



Did it get derailed?
Between midnight and 1:00 a.m., on the couch with the TV on.



I can fall asleep immediately after drinking a couple cups of coffee. I do it almost every night.

It totally does on me - I can't drink it after 10am or else I'm bouncing off the walls until 1 in the morning. Not literally, thank goodness.

My fluid intake:
Water: probably 36 oz/day. More in summer or if I'm exercising.
Coffee: 18 oz/day.
Sometimes small amounts of fruit juice. If I'm cold, hot tea at night. Mug-sized hot tea.

That's good. How much coffee do you drink a day?

Daily, I drink three or four mugs of coffee with skim milk, no sugar or sweetener.
I have two cups of tea with honey.
On the weekend probably some alcoholic beverage, the water, and three coffees plus one mug of tea.

I drink the beers but I don't get crazy. What I really need to do is drink more water. I am better about this when I jog and walk but I have been on a hiatus.
My bedtime is ideally 8:30 but 9:30 at the latest. I like ten hours of sleep and I get up between 5:45 and 6 AM.

Drink more water and definitely jog and walk. And do it consistently.
It really depends on how draining my activities were that day. On days when I had a 3-hour total commute, I would be dead tired and hit the pillow by 10:30, 11 at the latest. On days with no commute and little activity, I might not be tired until 1 a.m. I rarely ever nap, but I might take an afternoon catnap if I've only gotten 5-6 hrs of sleep the night before, and if I have a catnap, I won't be in bed before midnight or 1 a.m.
