Read Barbara's choice - The Night Circus. Lovely book - I have a long list of people that will enjoy it so my copy will be shared around for a while.

Home Front By Kristin Hannah
The Gargoyle by Andrew Davidson
Completed Sharle's choice: The Help. Glad I finally read it, lovely book. Nice way to end 2013 reading.

I can't believe how badly I did at this challenge this year, even though there were some books I really wanted to read, and plenty of short options for those I was unsure of.
Are we doing it again next year?
This was my favourite challenge of the year. I still have 4 or 5 books that were nominated which I want to read.

I will set up a new one. But I have to think about how to do it. The point is that with all the great books that are nominated and read some of them will be nominated by other persons the next year. So I will look into it and see how to set one up.

- favourite series (nominate book 1, but we have the option of reading others)
- favourite characters
- Best challenging books (things that took you out of your comfort zone like unlikeable characters, a genre you're not used to, difficult subject matter, etc.)
Yeah, that is what I was thinking about. I am also considering favorite author. I am just trying to eliminate problems we could be having. Like with series are there enough for us all to nominate good series? I will probably set something up later this week then have two weeks for nominations and then start reading somewhere in the middle of march or maybe even 1 April.

I don't really mind which one you choose though; was just throwing out ideas. I think 1 April would be a good date to start.
I know. And I think it will be series. We have discussed this earlier and there were many people who liked doing series. So that will probably be it.
