Care to tell us more about it, Kath?

Oh, yes - It was Martin Cosgrove's idea. He's written a couple of fantasy books I've really enjoyed. He asked me and Jonathan Hill if we'd like to join him as admins on a group - not promoting our writing but talking about reading and books. A thing we often don't actually get around to doing because of the distractions of... bacon and stuff!

If you join you'll not be inundated with posts. Many are articles about books and some are discussion topics. It's a bit of fun and I've found myself reading a book I'd never heard of. It was recommended as a book that changed her life by Kath Brinck, a member of this GR group.

We've had a short bio and introduction from Jonathan, tomorrow there'll be one from me (all the things you didn't know but were afraid to ask) and next week Martin will tell us about himself. Just so you know who's behind the posts.

There's a pinned post there at the moment about a summer giveaway. Share and you could win ebooks, signed paperbacks and an Amazon voucher. The more people in the group, the more wide-ranging our bookish chats will be.

Kath summarises the group very well! It's proving to be good fun and I've got some good book recommendations there already. The group isn't to replace places like this fine forum. It's just somewhere else to hang out while on Facebook. And if you join at the mo, you'll be able to enter the draw for the PRIZES!

I joined a little while back. It's a nice change from all the minions all over my feed :-)

It's quite a nice group because there are lots of friends on there but some people new to me. It just broadens your circle of people to talk books about.
