Jeanette | 10 comments The quote “Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination
and life to everything.” ' http://www.goodreads.com/quotes/20732...
isn't to be found in Plato http://ianchadwick.com/blog/plato-mus... & http://www.translatum.gr/forum/index....
though it has been around for a while as 'It apparently first appeared as a quotation attributed to Plato in The Pleasures of Life, Part II by Sir John Lubbock (Macmillan and Company, London and New York), published in 1889.' https://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Plato

It certainly doesn't seem to be by Plato. I've changed it to Unknown for the moment and added a tag "misattributed-to-plato".

Leticia Martín-Fuertes (nimbusaeta) | 12 comments Hi! This misquote has a version with "books" instead of "music", which is equally wrong: https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/7456...
I think is should be flagged as well
