Ladies, Let's discuss Wuthering Heights! Just remember to hide any spoilers :)

I have read this, and it is breathtaking! So tender and dark!

I just can't remember all the great points of the novel so therefore I will be rereading!

I downloaded this one for free but then I got sinusitis (I think from the excessive crying I was doing while listening to Fairest) so now I'm nervous to read it for fear I'll worsen my symptoms. It's another one I've somehow gone my entire life never having read! I'm beginning to wonder about my teachers and exactly which grades I missed now...how did I not read so many of these?!

I just finished this book because it was one of the books on the reading list for my AP Lit class and I fell in love with it. I loved it so much that after I finished it I went to the bookstore to get my own personal copy that's new (I don't really buy books to often, and when I do it's usually from a used bookstore). I can honestly say that I have never read anything like this before, it's heart-breakingly wonderful.

Can this be the Classic for August too? I've been to sick & busy to read it this month. =( Stupid immune system!

I loved this book in high school, so I thought this would be an easy reread. Not so much I couldn't make it through the first chapter this time.

I don't know. I just couldn't get into it. It's funny because my sister loved it in high school too and tried to reread a few years ago and had the same problem.

Awwww, that stinks. My advice is, read some other stuff, and definitely try it again next year! Believe me, it's hard to get into and I really almost gave up when I first read it. But it is SO WORTH the effort.
