GoodReads policy is to allow people to read and rate however they prefer. This topic has come up many times in the Feedback group, so you can go there to read more opinions about it. It's not a librarian issue.

Yet it has 283 ratings, and 76 reviews, some of which contain spoilers.
What is a the policy on this? Personally, I'd like to see the reviews and ratings disappear - no-one has read the book, so these are at best utterly worthless and add no value, and at worst could spoil the enjoyment of people researching reading the series (which is excellent by the way! :) )
