Cat 1 (I think it belongs here): The Secret Scripture by Sebastian Barry

David, are you talking about having it hyperlinked? There's a link right above the comment box that says "add book/author". Click on that and you can type in the name of the book you are nominating. Once you add that book, it will autofill here in the comment box, and viola! underlined. (on my pc, it comes up gold, not red)

No worries, Lori! I think a lot of us have enjoyed the extra time to nominate :D

The categories going forward will remain as follows (based on your feedback):
Cat1- Regular Fiction/Non-Fiction
Cat2- Classics
In order for a novel to count as "Classic" it must be published pre-1980.
Please do not nominate a book more than once. A book can only be voted on once, so multiple nominations within this thread are not counted.
Only ONE nomination per person.
If you nominate a book for catagory 1, you CANNOT nominate a book for catagory 2, and visa versa.
Please be sure to post the title, author, and the catagory it belongs to.
Ideally, you can type it as follows -
Cat 1. Room - Emma Donoghue
If your post does not have those three things, it will not be counted.
Are you ready?
I will accept nominations through Saturday evening. If we get tons of nominations, I may pull the plug on it a little early, so get them in as soon as you can!
Once I close nominations I will create the polls and let you know when it is time to vote!
Hit us with your best noms!
**Important note: At no time is it acceptable for an author to nominate one of his/her own books for the monthly group read. Likewise, it is not acceptable to "push" nominations or votes within this group. It also follows that "a nomination for a nomination" is not acceptable. If I suspect a push, or inappropriate actions have taken place within the group read nominations or votes, I reserve the right to deem those nominations or votes as ineligible.
