May I approach the bench Terri? Actually the lawyers are being placed in the story as hapless victimes. There is no 'Lawyer joke' type of insinuation at all. This is good thriller and it will whisk you out of the court room into the fresh air of the Sierra Nevadas. Then you will find out the real villan in the story.
