Samantha | 3 comments These books got me hooked on Highlanders too. They're absolutely amazing

Alisa Do they need to be read in order? I just picked up two of them at the dollar book store this weekend.

Lauren (laurenjberman) They should probably be read in order because characters reappear throughout the series, especially Adam Black who is in all the books except #2.

The hero of book #2 is a secondary character in book #1, books #4 to #7 are about the MacKeltars and should definitely be read in order because the storylines also interlink.

Angela(demonsangel) Fitzgerald (demonsangel) | 47 comments I'm not sure but I think the series has ended. Does anyone know if there will be anymore books written on the Highlander series? I read them all, and loved every one. I'm pretty sure there wont be anymore books written because of how the last book ended.,,

Sadly it looks like the series is over. Some time ago she said that she could not see herself writing a straight romance novel anymore.

There was some talk about her bridging the series using Christian but so far I have not seen it.

Dawn (dawnv) | 4058 comments Alisa I read them out of order the first time and when I went back to do a reread I read them in order.
Some of them I think can almost stand independently which ones do you have??

Taken from KMM's website here is a synopsis of each story:

Beyond the Highland Mist: story of Hawk Douglas and Adrienne de Simone. Hawk's best friend is Grimm (a.k.a. Gavrael Roderick Icarus McIllioch). This is the story where we meet Adam Black.
To Tame a Highland Warrior:story of Hawk's best friend, Grimm and Jillian St. Clair
The Highlander's Touch: story of Circenn Brodie and Lisa Stone
Kiss of the Highlander: story of Drustan MacKeltar and Gwen Cassidy. This book is where we start to see learn about the Tuatha De' Danaan
The Dark Highlander: of Dageus MacKeltar (Drustan's twin brother) and Chloe Zanders
The Immortal Highlander: story of Adam Black and Gabrielle O'Callaghan
The Spell of The Highlander: story of Cian MacKeltar (Drustan and Dageus' ancestor) and Jessi St. James

Alisa I picked up Kiss of the Highlander (Highlander, #4) by Karen Marie Moning The Dark Highlander (Highlander, #5) by Karen Marie Moning The Immortal Highlander (Highlander, #6) by Karen Marie Moning The Highlander's Touch (Highlander, #3) by Karen Marie Moning

This wasn't a series I was actively planning to read but I found all of them at the dollar bookstore & they look brand new so I thought "why not"? I've heard a lot of good things about them. (the "its only a dollar" thought process is going to see me into the poorhouse one day)
