Jessica | 963 comments I've come across a member that has added quite a few books, all incorrectly (ie - Roberts, Nora instead of Nora Roberts) and with no information in them at all (no format, no ISBN, nothing). I've started to fix them, but should I say something to them?

jenjn79 | 564 comments Were they added by the same member? The 3 I saw were all added by different people.

Jessica | 963 comments Yes. (Roberts was just an example).

jenjn79 | 564 comments It depends on the number added incorrectly. If it's just 3 or 4, I'd just correct them (then merge/combine, delete). But if it is a larger amount and it looks like the person doesn't understand the GR system, then you should definitely send them a message. Things like this can get out of hand quick, as many of us have seen (300+ improperly added books is NOT a fun thing).

Jessica | 963 comments They've only added 11, but all were added incorrectly. They're basically making new books for each one they've read. Does anyone have a standard message for this by any chance? Heh.

jenjn79 | 564 comments A standard message would be nice, we don't have one unfortunately. The best thing is to just try to be as polite as possible, explain the situation, then post links to this group if they have any questions.
