#6 & #7 Not GR authors so combined the profiles and sorting books now combined books too. Adding blank detail copies to the Please delete thread.

Should I have phrased those requests differently? #6 & #7 were kind of different from a standard combine editions situation.

It was clear which author was intended in both cases, but of course since the names were spelled wrong so,in effect, the described author didn't really exist. Should I have said "delete" and combine the ratings/reviews with the proper book lisintg?

No, that was fine :)

To delete the authors I merged them into the correct record, otherwise data can be left hanging. We can only do that with non-GR authors - the others have to be done by Staff

The combines needed to be done for the deletion requests to go in the other thread as they have too many adds for non-Supers to delete. If I deleted before the combine, the reviews etc. would be lost and that's not fair on the shelvers :)

#3 is combined OK now but if you see the first book in #4 it is the only edition of the book. And moreover the authors name should not be included in the title. :)

Please combine these editions. At least I think they're different editions (Kindle, Smashwords and ?), it could be two different editions and one duplicate, I don't know enough yet to be able to tell.

It's not really the fact that it has no reviews that matters, but that it has no unique book data -- no ISBN, publisher, cover, etc. It has been merged after all three were combined.

We cannot use book data from Amazon or other booksellers. If you wish a new book (or edition) to be added, please start a new thread, following these instructions.

Done with this. I combine the first two, but the third one seems to be a separate box set edition, so they shouldn't be combined.

I also separated the second book from the original "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe", since it seems to be a book based on the original title, but is actually a different book.
