Ali's AMAZEBALLS Corner

Thanks for the welcome! First group I've participated in so far on Goodreads, looks like a good one!

Hello and welcome, Ali. I look forward to seeing what you do with this place.

A comfortable, lively and active community!!!
Free Hugs for all with sprinkles on top!!!
We are in the middle of moving home. 300 miles away from everything I've ever known to be closer to his eldest daughter from previous relationship.
Lots of decorating to do, and plenty of reading and reviewing in between coats of paint!!! :)

Little early for beer for me, but a big steaming mug of coffee where there's more extras than coffee? Sho thang!

Ok are we talkin' tea or beer...cause I assumed *passes a cold one* meant beer. However, I did have a nice chocolate biscuit with my strawberry pu-erh this morning.

Ali... very nice decorations... I would love a cup of "brew"

Hope you've all had a fabulous day!

Hope you've all had a fabulous day!"
thank you very much... Yes the group is very friendly and supporting... so glad you are enjoying it.
My day was wonderful actually hank you... hope your evening is full of love, comfort and a bit of unkowing.

Just finished reading

It's fast paced and full of heart wrenching decisions for our main character Sam. For a 15 year old anyway. I'm sure glad this never happened to me!
I absolutely have to read the next in the series... It finishes the book up nicely but leaves a lot of questions still about the FAYZ, I'll be disappointed if the series doesn't end well.
It deserves a finish... maybe not the cliche happy ending but it deserves to be explained.
The characters are really quite fabulously flawed. In the sense that although they are kids, he hasn't given them everything they need in order to survive. They've got to work at it... good to see in the development.
Anyway... enough rambling! Book 3! WOOOOOO!

Just dropped by to say hi in your brand new corner.
I was not planning to say it twice, but life is full of surprises.
I see you love cheese. Well, we have a lot in common because I love cheese a lot.
P.S. I share the aforementioned perplexity; brew means beer!

Cheese is pure divinity ... nothing beats cheese! NOM!
Brew could be either tea/coffee or beer. Beer is brewed... But I also brew my tea... I shall have to be more concise in my offerings in future :P xx

sounds like a great read... course I have thousands on my to read list and 14 sitting by my chair at home waiting and ordered two off my tbr list yesterday...

Well, as much as I have a dirty relationship with cheese, chocolate and I have a thing that borders on the not-safe-for-childrens-eyes.

What's everyone's favourite???
I love anything really mature or garlicky!!! Nom!!

We took the day of from decorating our currently uninhabitable home... we are living with the in-laws (although we aren't married yet).
Tomorrow I'm back to it... leaving my Chloe Bear with her Daddy, and I'm painting! Finally we have the bedroom walls to a state where we can get a lick of paint on there, Morello and Lavender Grey are our chosen colours for our bedroom. After 4 years of being together, 2 years living with my parents we finally get to choose colours for our first home together!
Very exciting!
I would like to share a silly photo in my corner of me and Bear but I have no idea how to do it... maybe later when I've figured it out!
Hope you have all had fabulous days!

Think I'll make myself a brew! Anyone want one???
I'm currently reading Michael Grant's Gone series at the moment, on the 2nd book 'Hunger'."
Welcome, Ali! Great corner; feels all warm and cozy. :)
I have heard tidbits here and there, about this gone series. I may have to add it to my TBR. Is this a sleeper that no one knows about? I don't want to miss out! :D

It truly is a fabulous series... It was recommended to me by GR and then I joined this group, and another one who are both reading the first one... And I've been unable to put them down!
Please let me know how you get on with them :D xxx

I also have huge plans for landscaping!! Seriously, I have notebook with pages of ideas! (can you sense my excitement?) !!!!

At least I'm not the only one who gets excited over paint!! Hahahaha!!!

I will. I am excited; but my TBR looks a hot mess... :(

Absolutely loving the series.
My current plan is to read the last two books... Then read

In between all that... still painting! And hopefully getting some wallpaper in the hall, landing and stairs this weekend.
Our boiler won't be replaced until August so it looks like we are moving in with the one that is currently there and decorating the kitchen after that sometime!
*passes out strawberry laces* Hope you all have a great day! xxx

Hope all is well..

All grand as can be here... Hope you are doing fabulously! :D xx
