Dawn (Kat N Hat) (katnhat) Yup, I'll take Jacuzzi for bath tub.

I've seen a few people doing it in the last 2 days. I figured it was a GR glitch. No big deal

Angie ~aka Reading Machine~ (wolffaerie17) | 1469 comments I think it's a glitch in my Nook that did it today.

Angie ~aka Reading Machine~ (wolffaerie17) | 1469 comments Would you pumpkin be acceptable for vegetable?

Dawn (Kat N Hat) (katnhat) Angie ~aka Reading Machine~ wrote: "Would you pumpkin be acceptable for vegetable?"

Pumpkin is technically a fruit. In my experience it isn't commonly misrepresented like the tomato. So I am going to go with no. It could just be my naivety on the subject so if you can find documentation that it is commonly mislabeled like the tomato I would change my mind.

message 265: by Dawn (Kat N Hat) (new)

Dawn (Kat N Hat) (katnhat) In my mind it goes in pies so that is fruit. There aren't too many veggie pies.

I bought pumpkin soup the other day ,on the package it said "equals 2 serves of veggies "

Sometimes pumkin is a veggie.

That's okay and thank you Dawn. I already found another place in my book that states vegetables.

message 269: by Dawn (Kat N Hat) (new)

Dawn (Kat N Hat) (katnhat) Ok first Pumpkin soup? ***wiggles nose*** I'm not so sure about that.

But I have been enlightened, since Angie already found another it doesn't matter, but if anyone else wants to use pumpkin as a veggie I'll take it since it falls in to that grey area with tomatoes.

message 270: by Dawn (Kat N Hat) (new)

Dawn (Kat N Hat) (katnhat) I started working on round 6 items today. I might have to go back through them with a fine tooth comb to weed out any confusing ones. Who would have thought vegetables would be confusing?

No but maybe I'm envisioning it wrong (pumpkin pie batter). It probably has different seasonings than pumpkin pie.

Lol I've never had pumpkin pie.but the soup is usually spicy With chilly and nutmeg.

message 274: by Dawn (Kat N Hat) (new)

Dawn (Kat N Hat) (katnhat) Wow, culture shock going on here.

It was one thing that you said a,"cold day like today", it is so hot here (I saw some people posting it was 105°F). But to have never had pumpkin pie! I guess it is one of those things you take for granted. It is a staple of Thanksgiving dinner which everyone I know in RL celebrates. Some people don't care for it but everyone has had it. But I suppose if you don't live in the US a big family Thanksgiving dinner probably doesn't happen.

The pie has cinnamon & nutmeg. Then I usually slather it with whipped cream so it is really sweet.

Fruit yes, Pool yes, Roof... car isn't quite what I wanted, but I never specifically said it wouldn't work so I'll take it if that is what you can find. But it needs to say roof not just the top of the car.

message 281: by ShoSho (new)

ShoSho (shoshost) yes it says roof of the car
thank you

Dawn (Kat N Hat) (katnhat) Before all the rainbow questions come in, I am looking for the word "rainbow" (real or perceived) or something that infers the "ROY G BIV" pattern.

If it says something like," the prism broke the light into color patterns on the wall" I would take it because I know the prism would only display a rainbow. But," the stacks of clothes were sorted into every color" wouldn't work because it doesn't imply the right order or all the right colors.

Sheila (sheilaj) | 1 comments so a no on - two racks of expensive nightgowns and bathrobes in all colors of the RAINBOW ?

Sheila both would work because they have the word rainbow. Any form of the word rainbow would work.

message 287: by Sheila (new)

Sheila (sheilaj) | 1 comments OK it has to say every color of the rainbow, not just every color - Got it! Thanks

The actual palette could be just the colors they are using for that specific painting so it may or may not have all 7 colors on it. I am going to have to go with a no on that one.
