Time Travel discussion

Hi, I joined a few days ago and put an intro on the 11/22/63 discussion, but thought I'd put one in the right place. My name is Bill Cleary, I'm a clinical psychologist in Tulsa, Ok, and love all things SciFi. I read 11/22/63 last year and kept with all things TT, just having finished my 11th book in this genre. Now I've been reading "The Never Ending TT Story" and really enjoying it. I love all the feeds and theoretical discussions. Beginning to feel I'm in the minority, since I'm not a writer. I couldn't do my dissertation on TT. Love this group!

You might be in the minority, but you're not alone! I don't write, and don't watch TV, and haven't been to the movies in years, and am way behind on TT reads - but I still love this group!

Well, here's a good question: what is it you like about TT?
As you know, there are many flavors and some are highly specialized. (I am thinking here of romance TT, which appears to simply involve either getting a Viking to the 21st century, or going back to find a Viking, and having sex with him. No more plot necessary!)

If I'm the Viking, that would be good,too.
