I haven't had trouble with the books. I'm on #4...whats hard is the fact I've read too far ahead of the series :-D

Marlous | 1 comments It isn't hard at all. The only thing thats hard is putting it down. I want to keep reading the book, can't stop.

Bethany (beth_ess_xx) | 1 comments I bought the whole set of books because I enjoy the TV show. I've not long started the first book and in my opinion it is much easier to follow than TV.

Carmen Serra | 2 comments Agree with Marlous you keep reading I bought a kindle in preparation for winds of winter I am going to get The whispersync version so I can be reading it all the time. Mrs O Brien it is probably easier to follow than the show because the show cuts out a lot if you can imagine. And some of the characters aren't as prominent so on the show you think who was that but as your are reading it you will know. Plus there are maps and genealogies in the back.

Nannette Serra (pilgrimchaser) | 3 comments I shouldn't answer because I am not reading the book but watching the series on TV. I find it hard to follow except that I watch with my daughter who explains everything to me. She reads the books so I depend on her to know what is going on. I understand the books are written from the viewpoint of different people so any event can be seen differently depending upon the character ... sounds hard to follow. I do use the genealogies in the books to try to keep up with the characters.
