Inner Workings discussion

This irks me and, at the same time, amuses me. I wrote something last night and the following portion attracted the attention of the Word grammar checker...

Words I should never hear. Words I was forbidden to repeat. Whore. Asshole. Tramp. Bastard.

Of course the grammar check only wants me to correct the fragments "asshole" and "bastard" but "tramp" and "whore" are just fine. Explain...

Mine kicks out next and changes it to nest automatically. I think you have to take the time to go into that function and add those words or fragments to your checker. Also if you change the periods to commas it may be acceptable.

Can you turn your grammar checker off for certain documents?

I probably can, but I usually leave it there because I write so many papers for an anal English professor. I just thought the pattern of the words chosen were a little interesting.

Seems the programmer is personally offended by some words!

Guess what words I will be using to describe said programmer from now on? :)
