The Bone Collector question

As always it is nice to read the books in sequence if you can as they tell the story of the relationship between the various persons during a series of books.

But they can easily be read out of order if you really do not mind.

They can be read out of order--I read several other books in the Lincoln Rhyme series before I read The Bone Collector.

The novels stand alone. They grab your attention from the start and keep you reading.

I don't believe they have to be read in order even though when I first started following the Lincoln Rhymes novels I did read the first five in order. Since then I have read them whenever I happen upon one of them.
