Yay! I love The Selection! <3

I picked up my copy today :-)

I read the first chapter earlier..I will read some more here in a bit :) So far, just in that first chapter, I am looking forward to it!

Just about to start chapter 5! Crackpot Theory: I feel like aspen is cheating on America for some reason. Perhaps he is and she falls in love with Maxon and teaches him how to live a little more freely? Just a theory. Anybody else have some crackpot theories?

I just finished! OMG!!!! I got so sucked into Sunday I read for hours! lol. THis story is amazing!!!

I finished as wwell!! It was so good! I wish It was longer though! Onto The Elite!

already read both TS and TE, I loved the first one! as for TE, It wasn't as good

Just wait...at one point it just kind of sucks you in completely (at least it did for me!)

yeah i see what you mean i was reading it for about and hour and a half straight last night

i just finished it, didn't take me long, it was really good

Ok I'm just going to be honest here, I am not liking The Selection AT ALL. I'm not sure what it is, maybe I'm not in the right mind-set to read it right now, or maybe the book/plot just isn't for me. So right now I'm going to put this book on the back-burner for now and maybe give it another shot later in the year. Sorry guys!

As much as I enjoyed this book, I think I'm more excited for the potential of this story than what's actually written. Does anyone else feel there were some missed opportunities for storyline here? There was some drama with the girls but not a whole lot - that could definitely be kicked up a notch. America isolating herself most of the time took away from really connecting with any of the girls, even Marley wasn't that great of a friend (how often did they really talk?). I really liked the part where she plays the violin for everyone, but I thought it was weird how everyone seemed to really like America and I was thinking - how? why? they never hang out together.. I guess I would have liked to see more interaction between everyone. What happens between the times she sees Maxon?

I agree.. The Elite made me dislike America. She's getting to be irritating.. And really the story hardly progresses at all.

yeah i'm really enjoying the serious so far and am hoping that the one wraps up the story nicely, these books seem so small and it makes it feel like nothing has happened

I agree. These should be longer books! I read The Elite in less than a day and I worked that day! .. It's over too quickly.

I'm reading the selection, it's very good, i'm living it!

I can't sleep anymore, it's soo good

I think that they were entertaining, but neither of the books were really great to me

The series is great but America and Eadlyn certainly test my patience
