What's the Name of That Book??? discussion

I am trying to get the name of a book I read a while ago.

I think its a scottish historical romance.

I remember one part - I think it was near the end...the hero and heroine have an argument (think they are already married) and the heroine goes and stays outside the main castle. And the house she is staying in that night is burned during a raid. And the hero thinks she died but digs through the debris to find her. Does anyone know the book?

Oh, I am also looking for scottish/highland romance novels where the heroine is captured/kidnapped by the hero. If you know any good titles please let me know.

Eve--for your second post, if, in addition to the specific book you are looking for, you want more stories like it, there is a separate thread, starting right below this one, that is titled: Requests: For books in general. You'd probably get about a million suggestions down there. (Oh, and if you don't want them to be PNR, you'd need to add that to your request. There are a LOT of Scottish vamps and were-wolves and they all kidnap their heroines.)

As Ann aka Iftcan stated there are a lot that fit your description, but the first one that came to mind was Claiming the Highlander it's the second book in the series, but probably it can be read as a stand alone.

Eve on your second post about a Scottish highlander kidnapping the heroine, not sure if this is it but Dark Victory comes to mind. It had magic, time travel and its actually party of a series so if not Dark Victory, it could be one of books in the series. =)
