Carola Dunn's Regencies are high quality reads. My favourite to date is "The Road To Gretna".

I want to recommend Lord Carew's Bride by Mary Balogh, but am a bit hesitant. It's an absolutely wonderful book. The heroine meets the hero, a marquess who's a plain man with a bad limp, but is a lovely person. She's under the impression he's a landscape architect, and he doesn't correct her mistake as he's tired of people playing up to him because of his wealth and title. It's a favorite book of mine, but I read it a while ago, and can't remember if there's some sex in the book. So I would have to recommend it with that caveat.

In Merely a Mister, Lord Hayden conceals his identity while investigating complaints from local farmers concerning the high rents his father, the Duke of Braughton, charges the farmers. Lord Hayden also appeared in Quiet Meg and Major Lord David. So, I was quite happy to finally read his story.

I second this! I especially LOVED The Honorable Marksley, it is entrancing! Just finished reading them about a week ago.

The book is set in Cornwall during the mid 1790's, and is a beautiful love story, with a real authentic historical feel.

Thanks Gerri! Im always on the lookout for new authors and this one looks interesting! Just downloaded it to my kindle..(its 2.99 on amazon )
