Goodreads Authors/Readers discussion

Hello.

Please I really need someone like an Editor who can willing edit my children's books.

one is 9,000 words
another is 3,000 words
and the last is 5,000 words,

please can anyone help me out with any of this?

Do you know anyone else who writes? If so, partner up with them. Do you have a writers guild where you live? They might have critiquing groups you could join and get help there.

I'm a big believer in investing in yourself. You don't have to hire a professional editor for big bucks, but I would urge you to at least consider hiring someone you know is competent at editing and pay them some manageable fee. You get what you pay for.

Or, as Darlene suggests, find a competent writer and do a trade. That's an excellent idea.

I highly recommend that you talk to Heather (http://www.goodreads.com/user/show/58...) she is working on editing my novels and from what I've seen of her work so far she is a great editor.

She doesn't work for free but she doesn't charge the 'big bucks' either.
