With most ereaders, the user can change the font and size.

Professionally, 1 inch margins all the way around, double spaced, with 12 pica and New Courier, or New Roman are the most popular. Readers are comfortable with those two, and you don't want to do anything that makes the reader uncomfortable. Odd fonts also have a way of messing up the formatting for many ereaders...

I use palatino linotype in size 12. I don't use 1.5 spacing, but I do put a .06 break between paras. Also, I use 1 inch margins, .30 indents.
