Standardized book title syntax guidelines

Series information has a certain standard format.
Title (series, #1)
We've talked about a new original title field, but I'm not sure if any decisions were made. We've also discussed pulling things like "special edition" out of the title.

Not too much. I suggest to create a standard for listing extra info in the title. There are many things that confuse me, like these:
- How to format a title of a non-english book?
I saw for example books formatted as:
"Book title in hungarian (Hungarian edition)"
Okay, Hungarian edition.... of what? Shouldn't the extra info look like (english title, Hungarian edition) instead?
- What to display in title info, and what not? In one hadn we could put all the content of the fields on the book profile page into the title producing 5-6 row titles, and in the other hand we could exclude everything... but where is the golden road here?
These are just two examples. I suggest to create a standard and add more information into the Librarian manual about it. Here in this topic we could discuss the ideas about the standard.
So, here is my suggestions:
"Book title in original (English title: somelanguage edition, Book 1)(From xxx series)(special edition, if it is)"
What would you add or change?
