Tiffani Hollis (tiffanihollis) | 23 comments So I've been in marketing, branding, and graphic design for over 15 years and I'm a bibliophile at heart. I finally decided a few months ago to merge the two and I started a book design and marketing company called Ampersand H. This week we launched our first author, Lex Allen. We published a new website, covers, social media and more and then ran a free book promo on KDP Select.

In less than 24 hours, we had 1500 downloads and 9 purchases. That may not seem like a lot but most authors only see 100-200 downloads during their free book promos.

He ranked #3 in his primary genre, #10 in his secondary genre, and #191 overall.

I'm so excited about this. I hope you will take a moment to check out his website and follow his progress and we continue to develop his author platform. (Also we give away fun stuff!)

Tiffani Hollis (tiffanihollis) | 23 comments I didn't realize I was in the same group. I clicked on some links without paying attention. Yikes! Sorry!

Tiffani Hollis (tiffanihollis) | 23 comments I'm not sure calling someone out in a public forum instead of accepting an apology is polite. I'll kindly refrain from returning your animosity.

I'm a busy mom with 5 kids trying to get a business running. I wasn't paying attention and made a mistake.

Is your goal to stop spam or to start a flame war? I immediately apologized and stopped and then took the time to carefully check the other links I had open.

With kind regards,
Tiffani

Tiffani Hollis (tiffanihollis) | 23 comments I actually sent the moderator a polite message after I saw his spam and politely apologized as he didn't really know better. I took time to explain it to him today. He is and older gentleman new to social media and didn't understand.

I never think its ok to be rude even to people you don't like. I'm sad for your bitterness, it always seems to hurt the bearer more than the recipient. I've also learned to forgive people who are rude to me. Everyone has bad days. Maybe you are having one of your own.

I'm not going to reply to this thread further.

Again, with kindness,
Tiffani
