Nothing But Reading Challenges discussion

This challenge is all about Neil Gaiman and buddy reading!

Join us to read through his books - one a month - as "relaxed" buddy reads . Where a book is chosen as Book of the Month (BOM), we will use that format instead of the BR format (e.g. Coraline is BOM in September 2013).

How books are chosen Each participant can chose a book for a month until the 12 months have a chosen book. You can use this list as inspiration

I would love to be a part of this. Is there any way I'm considered active enough to be able to select American Gods for January?

I want to read American Gods and Neverwhere. Just finished The Ocean at the End of the Lane. Also would join for The Graveyard Book' But I just don't want to read Coraline.

Lord, you guys don't even know how excited I am. My wedding was Stardust themed.

I haven't managed to finish American Gods. Likewise, Karen, I definitely think I'll get more with a group.

I'm a little iffy about Coraline too, Sarah. There's a part of me that's like 'I've seen the movie and I have soooo many BRs on next month already'. The other part, though, is like 'But... but... BR!' :D

Ashley Marie, why don't we have a Stardust themed month yet? :O

Would I have to lead a group and do questions - cause I don't want to do that. I just like to participate.

Here's the link to the blog that my photographer did - it doesn't have some of the details that were really book themed (our card box was a library book return, our table numbers were the book covers from our favorites, our favors had little stars on them, stuff like that) - but my cool claim to fame with this is that Neil actually tweeted about it :)

So utterly utterly cool that he proposed by giving you an autographed Neil Gaiman book with the proposal inside. He's very much a keeper (your husband, lol)

I'm loving this idea! Gaiman has always been on my list of authors to read and I just haven't gotten around to him yet. This will definitely give me the kick in the butt to get started! :)

I think I´ve already read all of his books, except Good Omens, so I´m in for that one, if we're going to revisit it

I got teary-eyed, too, Nicole. We are wussies, aren't we? Or hopeful romantics. ☺

You guys are making me smile :) Hubby teared up, too, when we got them. I ate ice cream and laughed at him.

This probably illustrates clearly why I read so few romances and so many serial killer books, tbh.
