Hi

I've had my first rating for my book (yay) which is visible when I do a search on the title from the main search bar. However when I click on the book title and it takes me to the stats page the rating doesn't show. As it's my only rating I'm keen to hang onto it!! I'm still finding my way around here, so wonder if it's my understanding or something else. Can someone please advise? Many thanks.

And wouldn't you know it! No sooner had I posted the problem than the issue seems to have been fixed. Thank you to the Goodread fairies!

It can take a few hours for the system to catch up. I think a day was the longest I waited for a review to show on my page. But it can also happen the other way round you notice there has been a review left and when you click on it it doesn't shows.

Goodreads authors can also edit their book and midway down righthand side of the edit screen there is a choice to refresh stats/ratings.

I know I just had a rating left me, and I can't see it yet....arhhh I be checking every second to see it. Anything from a three is all good but you worry that you can't check.

just had a look at your book,it sounds good so added it to my wish list. (Need to read some books first I got too many and hubby is going nuts with them stacked up.)

Thanks for that,Debbie. I've just gone and found that screen and it will be useful for next time. Although I won't, obviously, be continually refreshing my ratings... Well, not much, anyway.

Kathryn, it's a scary business all this, isn't it? I must resist the urge to keep checking and get on with doing some actual writing!
