I like the story very much. The boots are a great metaphor.
I also meant to ask if there is a date set yet for the next de-evolution novel?

I'm glad you enjoyed the story. After reading my novel, a bleak account of the end of mankind, the last thing you were probably expecting to read next was a story about a heart-broken woman and her boots! : )

I'm not sure when the next 'Great De-evolution' novel will come out. Momentum is still building for The Man Who Watched The World End. The next two novels are ready to go, but I'd like to see how far this one can spread before I put out the next one.
