Stuart | 3 comments I recently found that books by David Thomson (a film critic) and David Thomson (a historian) were all listed under the film critic's name. I edited all of the historian's books, so that the name read 'David Thomson (1912-1970)'. Is this the right thing to do, and if not, what should I do in future?

This Is Not The Michael You're Looking For | 949 comments No, the proper thing to do is add an extra space in one of the author's names. See this thread and this page in the librarian manual for more info.
