Goodreads Authors/Readers discussion

Does anybody have any awesome advice for really getting the word out about my new book coming out in a few weeks? It's a sequel but I haven't really built a big readership yet. I've been plugging t on facebook and twitter th past few weeks with editing updates etc. I'll have the first book on sale at the time of release. But that's all I've got so far. I only have ebooks. No hard copies to give away or sign. Thanks in advance for your tips!

If you have a web site why not offer some kind of contest with the new book as a prize . Or offer your first book at 99 cents when you finally have book two ready to go. I'm going to do that when my book two is ready. You can check out what I mean at my website arabellathorne.com

Or join a blog tour with other books like your own

your publisher should also help you promote your books , keep posting ang re-tweeting , =) godspeed

Blog tours are great, or you might want to think about your pricing. Maybe offer the first book free for a limited time, which often spills over into people buying the second book.
