The Sword and Laser discussion

I'm trying to identify a book I read as a child. I had originally thought it was "The Martian Chronicles", but I read that over the weekend and, to my surprise, the chapter wasn't in the book.

To be safe, I will tag as a spoiler (even if I can't identify for what).

Chilling. I really wanted to find out where I read the story. Any help will be appreciated!

Anyway, the answer someone gave was a story from Ray Bradbury's The Illustrated Man, "The Last Night in the World." (Which is to say, I also vividly remember the story, remembered which book it was supposed to be in, and just went and looked at a review for the title.)
