A big commotion over nothing? Perhaps. I disagree entirely with any form of censorship. However, there are some details in the image that are a bit on the cruel side...the entire population of a city seeing a naked man pretty much being killed...

I think there are other images of Asterix that are equally cool and will not cause unwarranted criticism for misunderstood representations.


About the image, I agree that there are equally cool images that would be more appropriate.

It surely fits a comic book storefront! I think it is not that violent. Asterix never actually killed anyone in the comics. Romans are just a bit shaked.

His toes spread apart and wiggling like that is cruel but hilarious as well!
