Laura (xo_laurajane) | 1 comments I have been desperately searching for a title I read at least five or six years ago. It was some sort of paranormal urban fantasy. Heroine is the CEO of a tech company that she inherited and there is another company owner that is trying to kill her for her new top secret technology so she hires a private security company and the guy that comes to protect her poses as her new fiancé.

Does this ring a bell to anyone? I'm stuck and Google/GoodRead searches have brought me to the end of my rope!

Laura Jane--no idea what your book is, but I will tell you that there is a GR group that does nothing but try to help people find the titles they have forgotten. https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/... for the link for the group.

If you do go over there, a few suggestions for posting your book:

Give a brief description of the book in your header. Since the entire group is composed of people who are helping others find titles while they wait for their books to be ID'ed, a general title like you used here is not going to get people looking at it.

You've done a good job with the body of the description, and I hope you find it. However, a question--what made you think that this was a PN book? From what you've described, it could just be one of the jillion romances about rich CEO's--albeit with a female as the CEO instead of a guy.

What format did you read the book in--dead tree, ebook, audio, something else?

How did you find the book--personal recommendation from a friend? A review you read of the book? The cover grabbed your attention? Or, if you are like me, you start at the A's in a genre and pick up every book in that section, and read the blurb on the back? Was it possibly on a "our staff recommends" shelf?

Do you remember anything about the cover?
