Maya just wanted her mommy and daddy.. But the people who had hurt mommy and daddy had taken her away. She stood there crying. She knew that the lady at the big desk was staring.. She knew that where she was wasn't a good place

The woman looked the baby over, "you shouldn't steal children. We get enough donations."

"We didn't miss. Found this one on the street." He nodded.

She rolled her eyes, "leave her with me and I'll sign her in."

Maya looked up and sniffled. She ran up to the lady. She seemed nice. She clung to her leg hiding her face in her jeans. "We can get her signed in..."

The woman shook her head, "it's my job, not yours." She stated and took out a large wile of paperwork.

They huffed and walked off.

Maya looked around with her moms green eyes. She didn't like it here.

The woman picked Maya up and put her on her lap, "are you okay sweetie? Do you know your mommy and daddy's number?"

Maya shook her head and sniffled. "Mommy.." She whispered.

"It's okay, I'll find your mommy and daddy," she promised and pulled up a chair, "can you sit here like a good girl?"

Maya nodded and sat down. "Hair?" She asked. She wanted to okay with the woman's hair

She nodded and took her long hair out of it's bun.

Maya beamed and sat on her knees. She then began to work with the woman's hair.

The woman tried not to move as people talked to her.

A woman stopped and gasped. "What did you do to your hair!?" She asked.

The woman touched her hair, "what do you mean? Does it look that bad?"

"It's amazing... Who's your stylist!!?"

Her hair was braided up to the side and put in a bun. It was beautiful.

She gestured to Maya, "a gifted child."

Maya blushed and clapped. "Tada! Boo!"

She laughed then looked at the time, "looks like I'm off work now."

Maya frowned and curled up on the chair

She looked at Maya and offered her hand, "let's go find your parents."

Maya eyes widened and she clung to the girls hand. "Yeah.. Yeah.."

She smiled, "I'm Kim," she introduced and led the girl out.

"Ma... Ya!" She nodded. "Me.."

Kim picked the girl up and carried her to the car. She hated how the guards were kidnapping.

Maya yawned and fought to stay awake

Mario parked the car and pulled a hat on to hide his face and got out the car.

Sam frowned when he hid his face, she'd miss it for the shirt wile. She got out of the car and led the way in.
Sam looked around the room, she'd never been in the waiting room before; it don't look very much different from the one at the breeding facility. She went to the front desk, "we'd like to adopt..."
The woman nodded and handed Sam a thick booklet, "each page a has picture of the child along with their parents' names, their blood type, their likes, and a few other things."
Sam nodded and took the heavy book. She brought it to a round table and sat with it.

Mario joined Sam at the table, "So are we getting a baby or a toddler?"

Sam bit her lip, "which do you want?" She didn't really care.

"Toddler because I will not let you force me into diaper duty again." he joked trying to make her smile.

Sam smirked, "your lucky they potty rain us-them-at an earlier age." She tried looking for a child that would fit into the family. A kid that looked like him or herself. Her eyes landed on a little girl with one blue eye and one green. She had sandy brown hair and was labeled as a freak. Sam looked the girl's picture over and wondered what her gift was.

"Lucy, Fortune teller." Mario read under the little girl's bio. There wasn't much on her. She was quiet and shy and didn't talk to anyone but her supervisor.

Sam skimmed then looked at him, "can we get her?"

Mario nodded, "Sure." He took the book up to the lady and showed it to the lady at the front desk.

The woman looked at the girl and frowned, "are you sure you want that one?"

"Yes, we do." he nodded.

She nodded and took out some papers and wrote the girl's information on it. She grabbed an extra sheet, "you'll have to sign this, stating that if she has a child before the age of 23, that you'll notify us," she handed him the papers to sign.
Sam walked over and looked threw the papers. They were all sheets stating that they would be good parents and so on. She sighed the sheets then looked at Mario, waiting for him to sign.

Mario signed with his fake name and gave them to the woman and watched her disappeared behind the doors leading to where the kids were.
A few minutes later the woman came back out with a woman supervisor and Lucy. Lucy tried to keep herself hidden behind her supervisor's leg and her head down. Her gloved hands held on to her tightly. She didn't like meeting new people.

Sam bit her lip, Lucy reminded her of a younger Olli. She went to the girl and her supervisor. She kept a bit of a distance so the girl wouldn't get more scared, "Hi," her voice was soft, she wondered how meany families had tried adopting her but turned her down last minute; probably to meany, "I'm Sam."
