This is the link: http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/1...

It has been announced Emily, but via the Announcements page on the Goodreads Feedback group. I'd like to think they'd email the rules change to all GRs users, even if it's to our PM box here on GRs.

Please be careful in your response to this. If you follow the link, it has nearly 4,000 comments. It's a very heated discussion.

Don't hold your breath, Briansgirl ;) Anyway, I think it's a very heated theme. I'll give it a pass :D (I've already been in the feedback thread).

Melodie (melodieco) | 5280 comments I'd like to think the same thing, Briansgirl, but definitely won't hold my breath while I wait for that to happen! May be just the tip of the iceberg with the sellout to Amazon.

☯Emily Ginder | 58284 comments What bothers me the most is making changes without notifying all the members. Most members are not part of the Feedback group. I am only a part of that group because I had a problem a year or so ago and had to become a member in order to get it resolved.

I have now notified members in all the groups I am a member of, so at least my conscience is clear!

Melodie (melodieco) | 5280 comments It appears I have had at least 2 reviews removed, possibly 3. I went in and checked all the books I've rated 1 star since I've actually been doing some type of review. There was one I don't think I said anything about, so nothing removed there. However, what I had to say about Laurell K. Hamilton's SKIN TRADE and Alyson Noel's SHADOWLAND is no longer there. The other possible one I can't remember for sure if I said anything about it or not. I guess I'm not surprised about the Hamilton one. I've read before about what a crackpot she is and have read accounts of her attacking people who gave her negative reviews. Yet another reason for me to stay away from the Anita Blake books, as if the fact that they read like so much bad porn these days wasn't enough!

I have over 600 reviews and have read and rated over 1,000 books here on GRs. There is now way I can go back and attempt to track to see if any of my reviews have been removed lately. The only time I did in the past have one removed, at the request of the author (who was a royal pain the *** spamming all the groups and causing a ruckus), I was notified. I reported that author and turned my deleted review into a blog entry.

As a group owner/moderator I joined both the GRs Feedback group and the Moderator Support Group.
