Holly (goldikova) We used to have so much fun with our copy of The Anarchists Cookbook back when we were in high school.

What's the deal with putting Harry Potter on the list but not The Satanic Bible? Hmmmmmm

Ken B | 6810 comments Somebody loved to hate on Stephen King during the 1990's. 4 books on the list!

To Kill a Mockingbird? Whats so offensive about To Kill a Mockingbird?

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) | 957 comments It's usually one or two people who get their panties in a wad over something stupid. Language is a big issue for them. Use of the N word has gotten so many books banned, even if the book was about promoting equality. It's ironic considering they are banning stuff made up of words

Most book banning is done by people who can't read.

I think Fahrenheit 451 is the most ironic book to want banned.

Monday burn Millay, Wednesday Whitman, Friday Faulkner, burn 'em to ashes, then burn the ashes. That's our official slogan.

I love that book so much! Though I can understand why it would be banned...

Tressa (moanalisa) | 19903 comments I saw the Perks movie and it underwhelmed me. I guess the homosexuality in it gets it banned?

Justin (justinbienvenue) | 3047 comments Wow how weird, 6 of those books I read in school! and Goosebumps? Those were the only books I wanted to read as a kid! I don't know about some of those..

Squire (srboone) | 1043 comments I see a large number of books that were considered classic YA novels that should be in every school library back in the 80s!

My how times change!
