Theories? Predictions?

I just have to say that if Juliette gets with Warner I will have to rip up the book.

After reading "Unravel Me," I'm so torn between Adam and Warner. I mean, I loved Adam and hated Warner in the first book, but in the second one, I really disliked Adam(and it sucked that he wasn't immune to Juliette any more) and I started to really like Warner, especially after reading "Destroy Me." UGH, I don't know who to pick! BTW, I love the title "Ignite Me."

I'm so excited for it, and I really hope she ends up with Warner, but the way it looks I think she'll twist it someway so Adam can learn and be able to touch her and yet still stay healthy.
(I mean, pfft, whatever. I'll take Warner for myself. ;P)

I'm so excited to see the deal with them being brothers play out!

I love the title ignite me because it's Warner's tattoo and Juliette ignite each other so I feel it will focus more on them working together to take down Warner's father.

I need this book so freaking bad! I'm team.....I don't know, Unravel Me just torn my head apart.

Hahah YES. I can't wait to see Warner finding out that Adam is his half brother.

I'm hoping she stays with Warner. They make each other better!!

I feel like I'm the onlyyy person in the world who wants Juliette and/or Adam to go and kill Warner. I mean I HATE this guy!

No! I read like a page but decided against it. I REFUSE to read about that sickly monster XD

He's really not a monster....and Destroy Me gives you his perspective, you learn more about his past and his thought process. I don't know, I think you should read it and be open to the idea that maybe Juliette's perspective on him his biased and limited especially in the first book.

I think the point of the Warner arc with Juliette is that she (understandably) wrongly judged him in Shatter Me, then in Unravel Me she starts to realize that maybe there's more to him than she thought. That he's not a monster, and we as readers are supposed to realize that too, along with Juliette.

My desire to defend Warner is so strong haha.

How is what I said untrue? You haven't read his story, haven't gotten his perspective. It's fine if you don't like Warner, if you don't want to give him a chance, that's your choice but don't be surprised when people defend him when you call him a monster.

Have you read Destroy Me, Natalya? You'll learn that Warner is really a good guy!!

....I'm not surprise that people defend him. I don't understand them, but I'm not surprised. And I have read part of Destroy Me (The one page was a joke...) But I just dont like his character. Not trying to offend anyone...

You're opinion of him will change once you read the book!!

Why is everybody forgetting what happened in the first book?
And I don't think my opinion will change. In the little bit of Destroy me i read, he seems to pathetic and desperate

The person I like in the beginning of the book is always my favorite until the end BUT Destroy Me is an exception. Team Warner here. Haha

What we're saying is that Shatter Me/Unravel Me are told from Juliette's POV, she has no idea what Warner's reasons or motivations are for the things that he does. She's not privy to that information, because she just assumes that Warner is a crazy evil monster but she never really knows for sure. That's her opinion. We only know what Juliette knows or perceives to be true.

Just an example of some of the things you'd learn if you read Destroy Me: remember the soldier Warner shot in the head in front of Juliette? Turns out he was actually a horrible abusive human being who was slowly killing his entire family. Warner doesn't kill people for no reason. I'm not saying he's without flaws and perfect. And in UM he acknowledges that the things he did to Juliette were not okay, and he apologizes for them, but he also doesn't expect to be forgiven.

Hmm well getting back on track. What do you guys think will happen in Ignite Me?

I have a bad feeling that something will happen between Warner and Juliette.

I don't want to get my hopes up too high, but Juliette is with Warner in the beginning, apparently there was a sampler of the first 8 chapters given out and from what I heard she's with Warner and thinking about chapter 62 :')

Also from everything Tahereh has said, all signs are pointing to Warner and Juliette to me, but like I said, I've been let down before so I'm just going to remain cautiously optimistic.

Also, did you guys see the cover for Fracture Me? It's so pretty but I genuinely have no interest in reading it, especially after seeing the tag line. Blegh.

I think that some of the title names are just so strange.... Shatter Me is cool but the other ones are a little weird. Fracture Me? Ignite Me? ehhh....

Fracture Me doesn't fit to me, I made this post on my blog about how all the other titles seem to fit with quotes related to Warner/Juliette:

But I really have no idea where Fracture Me fits into it, or if this was even done on purpose. But when it's 4/5 titles it doesn't really seem like a coincidence to me...

Yeah who knows... I understand the titles, especially Ignite Me ;) They just sound weird in my head.

When the blurb came out we were obviously expecting Warner to be with Juliette and then Mafi goes posting that what we expect probably won't happen, then after that we were gonna expect it to be Adam since Mafi said we might be wrong on our first suspicion and when the book comes our it really will be Warner and so Mafi would be right cause we thought it was warner, then Adam because of what Mafi said and when the book comes out it would be Warner and we will all be like 'I was not expecting that because Mafi said we were wrong'

You know what's really funny about the title of this book? Before it came out, someone on GR said something along the lines of "Lemme guess, the next book is gonna be called 'Ignite Me'" and guess what? IT IS, lol :)

Ewwwww why...what is so great about him? He is a psychopath. No I did not read his dumb short story (I would rather die) and I do not care that he had a rough childhood and an awful father that really isn't an excuse for how awful he is.

The Truth is That Adam's character is taking a similar path to Gale's character in the Hunger Games; his lesser qualities are coming out.

I don't like Adam :P

This Is From A Book Signing With Tahereh Mafi

there is a lot of crazy world ending stuff so Juliette makes her choice early on and there will be no more kissing two guys just the one she chooses. So that they can focus on world saving stuff and what not.She Said writing chapter 62 was her favorite and that there will be even more chapter 62 like heat in The Third Book.

I'm so nervous about getting my hopes up in regards to Warnette. I mean everything Tahereh has been saying seems to line up with them being end game.

The fact that she'll make her choice early on in the book and that we know she'll be with Warner in the beginning seems to make sense with that, unless she's sitting around pining over Adam the whole time she's with Warner which would be so annoying. We also know in the 8 chapter snippet that she's already reliving her moments with Warner in 62.

Tahereh says she won't be kissing both boys in this book and then says on more than one occasion that there will be more moments like 62 and beyond that between Warner and Juliette (or she at least not so subtly alludes to it). That seems pretty self explanatory. If she's only kissing one boy and that boy is Warner, then Warner is who she's choosing. Also I mean come on, the book is called Ignite Me.

But like I said, I don't want to get let down. I just feel like her ending up with Adam would make no sense, especially since she's had this 'fear will fear me' revelation. I don't think this ~new Juliette will be as compatible with Adam as she is with Warner. Wow I think about this too much.

@Hannah, i agree with everything you said and it is kinda obvious since Juliette is with Warner towards the end of Unravel Me and it says that she works together with him! :)

I'm going to be so irritated if she's only with Warner on their own for like 3 chapters and then they immediately get back with the Omega Point crew. Unravel Me was basically Warner-less until half way through the book, I want Ignite Me to be Adam-less as much as possible.
