We are looking for your recommendations for the November BOTM. We are looking for a Thanksgiving themed book - meaning books filled with family togetherness, gratitude, seasonal themes.

Any Little House on the Prairie book.

Broken Promises: A Matt Davis Mystery. The cover is warm and fuzzy.

I'm am going to nominate Thanksgiving by Janet Evanovich even though I haven't read it. It seems like a good bit of t books like this are kids' books. Plus, I've also heard she's a funny author and it's really cheap for those of us with Kindles.

A Christmas Carol and Other Christmas Writings by Charles Dickens

Don't know any off hand but broken promises by Matt Davis sound like a great read.

May We Be Forgiven - A. M. Holmes. Incredibly dark start but a very warm message if you stick with it, about family and togetherness. Terrific book.

Mayflower by Nathaniel Philbrick. Well researched, excellent book that will put what you really know - or think - about the pilgrims to shame. Enjoyed it much more than I ever expected.

Did a search of heartwarming books on goodreads, this yielded

The 'Summer of the Barshinkeys' by Diane Pearson is a delightful story, uniting families and children from two different cultures and countries.
