We are looking for your recommendations for the November BOTM. We are looking for a Thanksgiving themed book - meaning books filled with family togetherness, gratitude, seasonal themes.

Broken Promises: A Matt Davis Mystery. The cover is warm and fuzzy.

Natalie (creativecountry0407gmailcom) I'm am going to nominate Thanksgiving by Janet Evanovich even though I haven't read it. It seems like a good bit of t books like this are kids' books. Plus, I've also heard she's a funny author and it's really cheap for those of us with Kindles.

Vivek wrote: "Can I nominate my own book?
A Great Sage and A Rascal Named Doku
It's inspirational and uplifting and will go well with the turkey, beer and football.
Endorsed by: Brian Tracy, T Harv Eker"

Sorry Vivek, no nominating your own. Thanks for double checking. What is another favorite?

Daisy Row (daisyrow) | 75 comments Oh? I can't think of any specific titles, but I'd prefer something more contemporary...

xD

message 10: by Sandi (new)

Sandi (sophiesage) | 1 comments I nominate Lori Lost and Found Series by Lori Otto.
Heart warming... Heart breaking... Heart bursting..... Break your heart and heart exploding..... Heart so full and warm!
One of best series ever read. Friends, Family and wonderful!

Richard (richardcjennings) | 5 comments While not about Thanksgiving, it is about giving thanks for what we have around us.
A Christmas Carol and Other Christmas Writings by Charles Dickens

Allyson (allysonmichelle) | 11 comments Don't know any off hand but broken promises by Matt Davis sound like a great read.

message 13: by Emma (new)

Emma Radford | 1 comments May We Be Forgiven - A. M. Holmes. Incredibly dark start but a very warm message if you stick with it, about family and togetherness. Terrific book.

message 14: by A.H. (new)

A.H. Pellett (ahpellett) | 5 comments Mayflower by Nathaniel Philbrick. Well researched, excellent book that will put what you really know - or think - about the pilgrims to shame. Enjoyed it much more than I ever expected.

message 15: by Daisy (new)

Daisy Row (daisyrow) | 75 comments Did a search of heartwarming books on goodreads, this yielded
"The perks of being a wallflower "
"Tuesdays with Morrie"
"The fault in our stars"

... And "the help", which I've already read

xD

message 17: by Lilian (new)

Lilian (lilianjgardner) The 'Summer of the Barshinkeys' by Diane Pearson is a delightful story, uniting families and children from two different cultures and countries.
