We also witness the formation of the two opposing camps: the Barbie camp and the Rennie camp. It seems like there is nothing in the world that can undermine the position of the Rennie camp;
Stephen King once again relies on children as certain prophets and seers of the impending darkness. The darkness in the form of the dome that might have come within this community.
My prediction is it will get much worse before it gets any better ...

The doctor's sudden death was a shock to me, I did not see that coming. It's certainly going to get worse. Having no propane (when it runs out) is one thing, but not having a knowledgeable doctor is almost worse to a certain degree.

A gang of thuds given the power of authority, we can see the way in which they will abuse the power given to them and it does not appear that things are going to bode well for the people of the town particularly not those that get in the way of Junior and company.
And in such a small town it seems that eventually the bodies of Angie and Dodee will be discovered and particularly with Juniors new position I have a prediction of Barbie being accused of the murders because his fight with them revolved around Angie.

I sort of felt like this chapter was more of a transition chapter. Not too exciting. Should get interesting soon though when Barbie tries to exert some power over Jim...
