What should happen in "The One"?
Maxon,Maxon,Maxon,Maxon,Maxon,Maxon,Maxon,Maxon,Maxon,Maxon,Maxon! I can not say it enough MAXON! I WANT DRAMA ROMANCE AND THE INTENSE STUFF U HEAR ME? I WANT STEAMY HOT AMERICA AND MAXON ALL ON FULL BLOWN ROMANCE AND ACTION! SERIOUSLY I THINK WE DESERVE IT! AND SHE WILL BE WITH MAXON!!!!!!!!!!!!
-First of all, I need an explanation from Maxon. What he was doing at the end of The Elite was just douchey.-Then I need a clear explanation about the rebels and all.
-A lot of plot twists pls.
-Aspen needs to die...he must sacrifice his life to protect America or something like that. That's the only way I can forgive him for what he did to America.
-More plot twists that can make The One 5-star worthy. Unlike other trilogy/series last books.
Aspen needs to DIE? Geez Patricia Marie, that is a little intense lol. However, we do need the Aspen book to close. I mean slammed closed. We need him to pay. However, his life might be a bit of a high cost.
I think we need America to think she has lost Maxon, and then he comes back to her. She needs to learn a lesson. I think they BOTH need to think they have lost each other! Maxon needs a reminder of how crazy in love with America he is! He needs to remember that even if she isn't the " appropriate choice" for his country she is the RIGHT choice for HIM!
And their marriage needs to be the beginning of a new government. That would be perfect :-)

i think that there's a LOT that has to happen. 1) i agree a bit that Maxon needs to make America think that she's NOT the one so that she can fight harder to partner with the Italians or whomever to come to a good resolution to help Illea thrive
2) i think that we need to learn more about the rebels and their motives and figure out what exactly they are doing and who's part of them (i.e. America's father)
3) Aspen just needs to GO AWAY. i won't say that i think that he needs to die, i just think he needs to go away. he annoys the living daylights out of me and he just makes things that much worse
4) i think that the queen needs to stand up a bit more for herself like the woman that she is and really help america
5) we need to see a happy wedding and little babies.

I hope that it will do the selection justice because the elite was a let down. I mean America's indecision really got me pulling my teeth out. I was that annoyed. As for what I'd like to seeNot an end to the monarchy but maybe an end to the kings teranical rule as for the queen not know about maxon highly unlikely I wonder if she could be a rebel in disqiuse. America's idea of the officials to be elected no inherited. Obviously Maxon and America together.
Ok I think everyone is forgetting about the note America found on the floor!!! So here is what I think is going to happen:
1) Kriss is a spy for the rebels
2) aspen and Lucy will get together
3) queen amberly will find out her husband is hurting Maxon and poisons him.
4) Celeste has to die or get a cut on her face so she can't model ( I could live with that)

Okay heres what I think should happen in the one....1)America's and Maxon's wedding!? Duhhhhhh!!!!!!
2)Aspen and Lucy should get married(Luspen)
3)Big fight at the end with tons of drama and romance
4)Someone has to die(Just not Maxon....seriously, if it is I will chop off your head Kiera Cass)
5) A epilogue... with kids!
6)Southern action, with America getting kidnapped
6b)Maxon's saves her
7)A hot seen with Maxon where he takes off his shirt(Besides, if it gets turned into a movie were going to need it)
8)It needs to come out before December, so today!!!!!!!!!

Okay so I have finally decided what I wanted1. America and Maxon to actually fight for each other!
2. America to like seriously grow up and fight for Maxon! Gees!
3. Maxon to put his big boy boxers on and fight for his woman damn it!
4. Aspen and Lucy need to like seriously get together and have kids already cuz he's just annoying me Aspen. Either he ends up with Lucy or dies for what he did to America. Just saying.
5. Maxon's dad dies
6. Maxon's mom kicks some serious butt
7. Maxon and America's WEDDING!
8. Maxon and America's babies
9. The evil system of caste to be redeveloped and something better
10. AN epilogue of 20 years later. And grandbabies no one forget the grandbabies
After much thought this is what I think should happen...* Drama , exciting twists

* America should try to win Maxon (seriously , even though I love the books , it took her a LONG time to finally decide she liked him!)
* Aspen leaves her ALONE!, I mean, he had his chance! Get OVER it!
* Maxon stand up to his dad and marries America (about time).
* Maxon give an explanation.
* lléa gets fixed (eliminating caste system, stopping the rebels...)
* Lucy should get together with Aspen maybe that way Lucy can be happy AND Aspen will get away from America.
* Maxon and America's wedding (DUH!).

You may never know ASpen from what I've read on the deleted scenes in the elite may be end game.

No, Maxon doesn't know that Aspen is America's former boyfriend (at least that's what we are led to believe). I heard that Cass originally had America be with one guy, but she felt it wasn't right, so she switched guys. Please let the guy America ends up with be Maxon. Please Kiera Cass and fiction gods above.
Also, I do think Kriss has a façade going on; she feels too nice and too fake. Marlee feels more genuinely kind, but I feel that Kriss is hiding something . . . (What would be really cool is that Kriss ends up being a spy for the rebels! :D)

That would be sutle but she does love Maxon now.
Okay, lets be serious, this love traiangle is pretty stupid. Always, we can tell that Maxon wins the girl so Aspen shouldn't even try and just go straight to Lucy. Its more predictable. Also I think that there has to be a scene when Maxon takes off his shirt, like I said earlier. It just has to happen due to th fact that it has a possibility of turning into a movie or tv show.

I am so glad I am not the only one that does not like Aspen. I agree that in the "The One" Aspen needs to GO. I was so sick of always having to stop myself from throwing the book when he came around.I was so proud of America for shutting him out at the end of "The Elite". Here are some things that I think should happen in "The One":-Aspen needs to leave or somehow get over America
-America finally get over Aspen
-I NEED MAXON AND AMERICA TO GET MARRIED ALREADY OR SOMETHING TO MAKE HIM STOP SMOOCHING OTHER GIRLS.
-Celeste needs to GO. I want to see Maxon HUMILIATE her. No. Not humiliate.. DESTROY THAT WHORRIBLE GIRL. Am I the only one that has Nicki Minaj as my Celeste?
-Lucy needs some serious loving from a man. (I don't want to say Aspen because that would irritate America)
I have high expectactions for "The One" and I'm very, very excited for it. TEAM MAXON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What if there's like a major plot twist where the King blackmails Maxon into marrying Celeste, but during the wedding rebels invade and kidnap America and kill the King. Then Maxon goes after America and tells Celeste he never had any interest in her. And then more drama stuff happens...I'm not too sure where these ideas came from, but for some reason it's the first thing that came to mind

T..."I've listened to online reviews. I think everyone wanted the Selection to end in book two!
I would love it if this book were more focused on the rebels, and if the selection happened early on. That's what I liked the most about The Elite, that we found out more of the backstory of Illea.That being said, I don't think it'll happen. Cass has set up for a lot of drama between the King and America, Maxon's thing about "you have my love, now you need to earn my trust," and Maxon's political benefits for choosing other girls. So I think it'll take time to get through all that mess.
I just had an interesting thought: what if Maxon has already guessed about Aspen and America? Like if he picked up on their reactions on seeing each other the first time Aspen arrived at the palace? What if that was why he put Aspen in America's guard rotation? Now THAT I would like to read.

Astrid said that she won't care unless it won't be similar to the Delirium trilogy's ending, and at the end of Allegiant (view spoiler) So that would suck for America, if that happened. I do agree with what Astrid said about Delirium's ending, though. It sucks to spend three books investing in a character, just to not really get an answer. I wouldn't like it if that happened with The Selection.

I really would like for 7 things to happen: 1. Something happens to America (rebels kidnap her maybe?) and Maxon becomes her night in shining armor and realizes how much he loves her
2. Aspen GIVES UP AND LETS HER GO FOR CRYING OUT LOUD
3. I think Kriss is hiding something big and I want her exposed
4. The Caste system done away with
5. the rebel thing finally revealed and solved
6. Maxon and America to have a wonderful precious wedding
7. Their children in the palace running around and just general precious-ness of the Maxon/America offspring

I think she might be kidnapped too or something to do with the rebels.
Just to put it out there, we are obviously going to need Maxon to have AT LEAST one shirtless scene. If there is a chance of it being a movie, we'll definitely need some skin.And Maxon's dad? Yeah he can go die. In a hole. In China. We dont need him around. Bit harsh maybe, but he needs to go.
Aspen is another who needs to go. He doesnt have to die, he can simply move away or whatever, but i would love if him and Lucy ended up together! If not, well he just has to leave.
We need a lot of romance with America and Maxon! I just want them to be happy, is that so hard Miss Cass?
Although i would like for Maxon and America to fight for eachother. And for Queen Amberly to find out about her husband beating her son. And for her to like, beat the crap out of that douche of a husband of hers.
The caste system should be fixed, and i would love it if Kriss was a rebel!?! It would just fit in so well with the storyline. And Celeste can just go into hiding or whatever for being such a hoe. OR SHE CAN GO WITH ASPEN AND THEY CAN BE HORRIBLE TOGETHER. I like that. And hopefully Marlee and Carter will be in it a bit more too.

Okay, enough is enough. we all know that Aspen is a total jerk, and he thinks he's the "default boyfriend." GET A GRIP MAN!!! You're not her favorite anymore!! America needs to ditch that noob and find a better life with Maxon, because we all know that he's head over heels for her, when Aspen seems... ingenuine. America makes good decisions, though. no matter who she chooses, she knows and i know that its whats best for her.
