Although, there were parts in the book that I got upset with...its way more in depth than a suicide pact- and i kind of wish she would have gone deeper with these issues.

But I didn't know there is a movie. Now I want to watch the movie.

I just finished this book last night and wrote a review on it. I'd be interested to know what other people think really happened. I think Emily pressed Chris' finger and shot herself. She got the strength to do it because he was there with her. I don't think he would have done it otherwise. Neither one could do it by themselves.

I am on my third book of hers, Vanishing acts, and WOW. i mean it is really good. im not done yet but i've got high expectations for this one!!

Another Picoult book that left me taking a break for a couple days, before starting a new book.
(Nineteen Minutes was like that also...needed a break afterwards...left my mind spinning)!!

I think I may have found a new favourite author to add to my list.

I SAW THE MOVIE A FEW YEARS AGO AND WAS DISAPPOINTED, ALTHOUGH MEGAN MULLANY DID A GREAT JOB! SOMETIMES YOU CAN CATCH LIFETIME RUNNUNG IT IF YOUR LUCKY. I LOVED THE PACT SO MUCH. THAT AND MY SISTERS KEEPER ARE MY FAVORITES BY PICOULT.

The Pact was actually the first book I read by JP and my favorite. This is the book that got me reading the rest of her books. It was the only book I read in a 24 hour period.
I have not seen the movie, but have seen adaptations of her other books - Plain Truth and Tenth Circle. Of course, not as good as the book. I've heard on a Barnes & Noble interview that My Sister's Keeper is different.
