In history long lost to the mundane world, the streets of New Orleans was openly walked by witches and voodoo queens, or Magicks as the mortals called them. They lived like normal people, practically impossible to tell the difference. At least, that was until the latest Omniapoten, the most powerful Magick that helps determine rules and helps run the Coven, made a terrible mistake - she killed a human. An uproar started, humans against Magicks, the numbers falling to a dangerous low. Join the battle, and rewrite history.
As the mortals fight the Magicks, not everything is rainbows and butterflies, obviously. The war will rage on without the notice of anyone outside of the city, and lives will be lost. There's bloodshed, broken hearts, and the worst? One species going extinct in the area. Which will it be?
Subplot After accidentally killing a man, the Omniapoten isn't all there anymore. She can barely keep herself together, and the Magicks aren't watched over quite as well. Will she be able to bring the Magick community back to it's original, peaceful glory or is it too late?
Subplot One brave man bumps into the Omniapoten, a brave mortal man. As she suffers silently, hiding away from her kind and everyone else, will he be able to bring her out? How will this budding relationship survive when both sides are trying to tear it apart?
