So I started this book last night and was only going to read a couple pages, but ended up reading 39!! So good. :) I'm hoping to read a lot more this weekend.
I loved how the writing just grabs you right away! I'm only on chapter 7 and yet there has already been so much suspense!
I wonder if Mike is going to end up with someone?? Maybe Olivia? It doesn't sound like he is already in a relationship with someone, so...
The car accident scene was crazy! At first I thought the accident was caused by the "bad guys", but now I think it just happened. I mean, why would they do that when they wanted information about where Kyle put the laptop and flash drive. What do you think?

That car accident scene was crazy! I also thought it was done by the guys after Kyle/David. But I don't know. I think that they would want any info he has on the murder he witnessed back in the prologue.
I really do like Mike. I guess he got the distress message from Kyle that caused him to go check on Summer.
I really like Mike too! I wonder if he got the distress message or was just checking on her because Kyle has failed to contact.
I love the whole WITSEC aspect to this book! I love reading stories with the main character either being in hiding or undercover, so I'm finding that aspect of this book so interesting. :)

I finished the book!! So good! I had a guess of who I thought the guy with the tattoo was, and I was right!! It's always fun when you guess correctly, isn't it? :)
I was really sad when we found out Mike was killed. When it was first said, I didn't believe it, but when they found his body, I knew it was true. :(

I was do glad to see that Adam redeemed himself. I hope to see both him and Chase again.
I loved that David wanted to make sure that he and Summer were legally married. I also hope that this experience causes Summer's sister to grow up. I found her to be an annoying self centered brat.
I'm glad he redeemed himself too.
I loved that, too! Yeah, Summer's sister annoyed me from the start. I was surprised that she tried to help the bad guys find David and Summer and that she let them injure her! I also hope this experience will cause her to grow up.
I was a little surprised when we found out that David had given the laptop to Ron. Speaking of Ron, I wonder what kind of badge he has?? Hopefully we'll find out in the next book. It was really cool how he had paid off David's gambling debts!

I've not read any of Lynette's that are series. The only ones of hers I have read have been the LI Suspense. In her series, do the characters from the first book make an appearance?
Agree!
In the previous two series, yes, the characters did appear in the next books. I'm hoping that's the case with this one, as well!! :)
I thought it was neat how David planned to wreck the car at that spot so they could hike to his cabins and hide. I also loved how David's friends showed up to help him!

Summer Abernathy wakes up one morning to find her husband missing, three men in her home intent on finding him, and the life she's been living based on a lie. Which Kyle Abernathy did she marry? The computer programmer she met in line at the bank? Or the one who was apparently using that image as a cover story?
The search for her husband--and answers--takes Summer ever deeper into a world of organized crime where people are used one moment and discarded the next. And with her deepest relationship of trust already shattered, Summer doesn't know who to believe.
