Margo Roth Spiegelman, Quentin Jacobsen, Ben Starling and co from Paper Towns by John Green. They were 3-dimensional characters that said and did things real people would, all the while being so original and witty and lovable.

Those characters has a way of getting to you. Sarah J. Maas hits just the right buttons with those characters, poignant, and real as they are! I love that Celaena is selfish enough to be scared for her own life, instead of jumping in to save the world. That is what real people do!
