Q&A with Cinda Williams Chima discussion

Has anyone heard if Ms. Chima is going to be at Dragon*Con 2014 during Labor Day weekend?

That would be awesome.

Dragon*Con is in downtown Atlanta, GA.

I went to the kid's panel last year and met her at a Strong Female Characters (something like that) panel. I had never heard of her up to that point. I was on a quest to find advanced books that an 11-year old girl would enjoy. It's a fine balance between complex books and ideas but no kissing (the kid freaks out about kissing but thinks Stephen Hawking is great. Go figure.)

Chima gave me a copy of her first Seven Realms book (everyone else already had it.) I read it and was hooked. I got my kid to read it and we ended buying everything Chima has written. She read both series over holiday break. Two of the books are autographed and I have met her. The 11-year old is dying to meet her. I am hoping Chima will be at Dragon*Con again this year. It will be the highest priority panel for us (and that's saying a lot.)

Just confirmed: YES!! I will be at DragonCon 2014 this Labor Day Weekend! Looking forward to seeing y'all again.
