Have you started it yet Tayla? I'm really liking it so far. I'm about half way through. I can totally tell that this was written by James Dashner. I love the way he writes :)

Ok, I saw there were a few people here talking about it so I thought someone will join me, but I guess I'll be only with you. Not that I mind :P .I'm going to start reading this on 24 Feb. If anyone decides to join me then, they are free to do so :) .

Nop. I decided to skip the Maze runner because I've read the ending is similar with the one from Divergent. And I just couldn't stand another disappointment ^^.I will start reading this one tomorrow, but I will be slow with it.
The Maze Runner and following books was much better than Divergent. I thought Divergent was disappointing as well.

Regarding this book, it's boring. Kid sees something wrong going in the virtual world, kid is accosted by government and entrusted with the task to capture a serial killer, kid accepts challenge [gets help on the way, but not by the freaking government that hired him....]. Really, this bugs me a lot. The government asked him for his help and never gave him any help to track and stop this guy. He needs to ask the help of his friends that are just as powerless as he is. Even if they are good hackers, they are still kids, they should have someone to help her, and adult to watch their back.
So far I find this story far fetched. It's progressing too fast, it does not have a decent world building and all this combined make me distracted and, in the end, bored :( .
How do you feel about this Pitch?
Saw you gave this 1 star. Gee... I wonder why...Unlike you, I was not strong enough to finish this one. The action made no sense whatsoever and the characters were so plain and uninteresting I could just not go on [and I did read more than half of it, so it's not for lack of trying].
Lol. I wanted to stop reading it. I got within 60 pages of the end so I kept going. I thought the writing was awful. It was an interesting idea and the beginning did suck me in, but it was as if someone told Dashner he needed to get the book out before it was completed. Disappointing, especially after The Maze Runner Trilogy. I never felt any connection to the characters and maybe since Michael wasn't human (he was a Tangent) that was why? Oh well...on to something better I hope!
Lol, didn't get to that point. What's a Tangent? Better yet, don't answer that, I have a strong feeling I won't care XD.After this catastrophic experience I'm even more frightful to start the Maze Runner. :(

I really enjoyed this series. I especially loved to 4th book (the prequel). I very excited to see the movie.
Guess I'll see the movie. If it's awesome I'll read the books as well. That's how I found Hunger Games [to my utter shame XD]. Up until then I was reading only the classics.
Tayla, I assume you haven't gotten to this yet? I know we were meant to start it a couple of days ago but I was busy. Sorry! I want to read a couple of chapters before bed at least. :)
