Yeah I know. It's weird because normally it shows them but for this title it didn't. I don't know why.

Read: Night Broken by Patricia Briggs
Date: 3/26/2014
Rating: *****
Review: Oh snap! Adam's Ex-Wife is back and she's causing trouble! I love this series! Mercy's in a position where she can't just tank and spank the bad guy with the pack. Her pack's not on her side and she's got think before she reacts to Christy's taunting. SO GOOD!!!
Items:
People: Thief: "Samuel said Leah put out a bounty on the shoes and the thief"
Animals: Monster: "Belonging to a vampire the other vampires called the Monster would have been worse than bad, so I'd asked Stefan for help and he'd tried. But Stefan's hold had been broken when the Monster had taken me again."
Misc: Short Person: "It was that she was short and had to stand on tiptoe to do it."
Page 2
Props: Light: "One guys at me down and looked me over with a flashlight while the younger Cantrip agent took it upon himself to make sure I didn't make a break for it."
Bonus: Purple: ""One foot, wearing a purple Converse tennis shoe, was flat on the table ..."

Bonus: Purple

Monster (Devil): "You wretched devil!" ~ KL 2103
Short Person: "nearly bowled over a petite young lady" ~ KL 3483
Lamp: "holding an unlit lamp" ~ KL 2186
Purple: Title on Cover is purple
Lucy and Clifton have a second chance at love after years apart and Lucy is now a widow. While they seem like an unlikely match, their romance is fun to watch as it develops. The author's writing style is the perfect mix of mystery, romance and even a little humor. I also enjoyed revisiting characters from previous books in the series and getting a glimpse of characters in upcoming books.

Read: Entangled by Nikki Jefford
Finished: March 27, 2014
Rating: 4 Stars
Review:
I purchased Entangled as a freebie on Amazon and really wasn't expecting much when I started it. However, I was immediately drawn in to the story and found it to be a quick and very enjoyable read.
By the time the "event" happens in the story I had completely forgotten that it was what the book was about and so I was surprised by it. It was interesting seeing Graylee react to existing every other day and what she had to deal with living in her sister's body. I couldn't stand her sister, so every time Graylee did something she knew Charlene wouldn't like I was happy.
If you enjoy stories of witches I think you'd like this book.
ITEMS CLAIMED:
People - Thief: "They'd been think as theives until Raj quit attending..." (page 41)
Animal - Monster: "She ought to treat him with respect rather than as a child or monster." (page 60)

Props - Lamp: "...after driving headfirst into a street lamp Friday evening." (page 166) or (view spoiler)

There are not enough stars to ratet his book. Yes it's that good.
Review:
I have been thinking all day about how to write a review for this book...........
I still don't know what to write. This was .. just.... wow!
I was really worried about reading this, I went into this blind (no pun intended, you'll understand when you read it!) only knowing that this had a huge amount a of 5 star ratings. I had no clue what the plot was, nothing. I was worried, because , what if I didn't like it ?, when it had so many high ratings, surely it couldn't beTHAT good to be consistently rated that high. Honestly, it's not an over the top story, it is emotional and just beautifully written, and deserves every one of those five star ratings.
All I can say is READ THIS!!!
I really can't come up with words to describe what it made me feel, I just know it was amazingly beautiful, and needs to be read. There also needs to be more stars, just for books of this calibre.
I need to gather more of Amy Harmon's work.
Amazing.
I have claimed Monster and Bug, as I wasn't told which one we were going with.
I claimed:
SHORT PERSON: Page 59. He was short, maybe 5'8 at the most.
PURPLE: Page 15. Fern and Bailey sat slurping the purple popsicles they'd
pilfered from the freezer in the teacher's lounge,
BREAD: Page 75. He made pies, cakes, cookies, donuts, rolls, and bread.
BUG: Page 128. “I gave up on spider venom pretty quickly,” Bailey said. “I figured I'd probably been bit by a million mosquitoes, so bugs probably weren't the answer.
ENGLISH: Page 37. “Me? Oh, I know all about the pleasure of a woman's body,” Beans continued on in accented English, his eyebrows waggling.
MONSTER: Page 68. The fog was a relief, but it frightened him too, because lurking in the fog was reality. And
reality was a monster with gleaming red eyes and long arms that pulled him toward the yawning black
hole that made up its body. ORWhen Ambrose peered over his shoulder to see what it was,
he saw various pictures of a naked warrior fighting what looked to be mythical monsters.

I finished at 3am this morning. 3/28/14
I give it 2 stars.
The plot was ok, but there is just something about the authors wording that rubs me wrong. This is the 3rd book in the series and I've had issues with each one. It's hard to get in the story when the written words just make you stop and say huh?
Purple pg 332- Deep Purple streaks marred the tender skin
Short person pg 2 Daddy gathered her up and hugged her to him " Come on little bit"
Lamp pg 279 In the warm glow of the table lamp.
Bear pg 9 - and a bear had stopped and sniffed the wind.
Thief pg 324- That crazy woman you left here stole my car.

Prince, Bug, Story, Bridge, and lamp.
as well as the called words for this week.

I suppose it depends on what books you are reading to how hard prince would be to find. I think Prince would be harder than bridge to find. I think Bridge should wait... just my opinion. But I am ok either way.

sure.

“You better marry the guy before someone comes along and steals him from you,”
“I had to dig
through hundreds of gifts in the reception hall to find it and then the caterer thought I was trying to
steal it.”

I plan to claim Englishman, Prince, Bug, Story, Bread and Sock.

OH, AMAZON search. I'll have to look at that...

Prince, Englishman
Bug
Story, Fictional Character
Bread, Apple, Bridge
Any and all recommendations would be helpful, I'm looking through our competitors threads to try to find something...

Items:
Bug: "'Is it cold?' she dithered, looking suspiciously at the insect corpses that drifted across the surface." Page 245
Sock: "She wanted a braying, bossy mother in a body warmer and knitted socks to tell her to marry Tim..." Page 20
Misc Items:
Prince: "No chance your mum had a quickie with Prince Charles in 1971?" Page 199
Englishman: "Liv pretty much has it all: a flat-small but great location-location-location in the heart of London's fashionable Notting Hill." Page 3
Story: "In fact, her life could be described, to the casual onlooker, as a bit of a success story." Page 3
Bread: "There were at least twenty people munching bread rolls at the intimate little gathering." Page 79
Apple: "But what I really wanted was an apple." Page 61
Bridge: "The deck was gleaming in the sun, and in the distance the Harbour Bridge stretched across the horizon." Page 156

I read Sinners at the Altar.

Four Stars.
I have read and loved all of Olivia Cunning's books, so this was no exception.
This is the Epilogue book for four of the five Sinners books. And as the title says, we follow each of the boys on their trip down the aisle on
their respective wedding days. Brian and Myrna, Eric and Rebekah, Sed and Jessica, and Jace and Aggie all get their HEA. Trey is not included
in this book as his coupling is a little unconventional and is played out under the Exodus End Series, namely as Reagan's story. So a whole new book
for Trey!! It was great to see the guys all get their Wedding day, and the lead up to them.AND to get to the end and find out, that it's not the end!
BUG. Page 93 Rebekah’s heart fluttered in her chest like the wings of a butterfly as she stared down the aisle at Eric.
SOCK. Page 57 She untied one of his boots and pulled it free, tossing it aside before massaging his instep through his soft, white cotton sock.
PRINCE. Page 75. She’d seen it a hundred times as a girl and had dreamed of getting married in a fairy-tale
church wedding to a handsome prince in that beautiful sentimental dress.
STORY: Page 104. “Did he tell you the story behind them?”
He shook his head.
“His great-great-grandparents immigrated to the United States from England during the mid eighteen
hundreds.
LAMP: Page 57. Back in the hotel room, Myrna circled the suite to turn off all the lights except the lamp next to
the bed.
My super bonus: Thief. Page 130 “I had to dig through hundreds of gifts in the reception hall to find it and then the caterer thought I was trying to
steal it.”

be sure to let me know if you add it back into the post so I don't miss the update.

I finished my book. Not sure what I searched for and found, but it was not Sock. There were no socks or stockings. GRRRRRRRRRRR.
I'll see if I can get a short book read in time, we can't afford to miss a bonus.

Review: I didn't enjoy this book very much, the main character was whiny and annoying. She complained the entire time about how her life was not up to her fantasies and she was pretty spoiled.

Rating: 2.5 Stars
Review:
I'm not quite sure how I feel about this book, so I might be changing my review in a few days once I've had more time to think on it.
It was hard to get into the story, the opening was really slow since it had so much detail and it took awhile for me to start to like it. Overall it was enjoyable and I can see myself sometime reading the sequel, though I don't think it's one I'll be reading anytime soon.
ITEMS CLAIMED:
People - Englishman: "Do you know what Gandhi, a Hindu, said to some British army officers..." (page 262)
Animal - Bug: "Well, too big for a giant spider." (page 334)
Misc - Story: "He entertained her with stories." (page 15)
Props - Bread: "On the kitchen counter, she found some bread." (page 86)
Props (BONUS)- Bridge: "The road led to a long bridge that it shared with a metro line and then climbed up onto a bluff." (page 131)
Bonus - Sock: "Red shoes and knee-high red socks". (page 282)

Lady Georgiana is 34th in line for the British throne and has to learn how to support herself when her brother, a duke, cuts off her allowance. After she finds a dead body in the family bathtub and her brother is arrested for murder, she begins to wonder who she can trust and looks for clues to solve the murder and clear her brother's name and protect herself. An entertaining historical mystery by a delightful new-to-me author. I will continue with the series.

Read 4/4/14 3 stars
This was a good story and good plot, city girl & the country boy. The characters just didn't draw me in to much. (it might have been the speed reading). It was one of those stories where the main characters annoy each other almost to death then they do one nice thing and are suddenly in love, but god forbid they admit that to anyone.
Bug: KL-1759 and bugs swarming everywhere.
Sock: KL-651 with some heavy socks
Englishman:KL-3996 to the gorgeous Englishman with the adorable accent.
Story: KL-939 had his whole life story spelled out.
Bread: KL-404 but it keeps bread on the table for working folks.
Bridge: KL-381 propped her sunglasses on the bridge of her nose.

Can you claim englishman or fict character or bridge as your super bonus?

Got it. Hope the migraine goes away soon.

Well the people got us. With elf being called we won't be able to claim Prince even if Suzanne had Englishman in her book the most we could get would be 49 points. It takes 50 to win.
Great playing with you all.
hopefully I'll see you next round.

I might do one in June that I don't play myself. Or wait until September.
