The default edition of this book (ISBN 9780373803002 )has no description, just a little boilerplate that seems to be from kcw. I tried setting it to use the default description, but it doesn't take - I can save, it says I've saved, but it doesn't actually change.

Don't know if this is some kind of precedence issue, the book is broken - I've never seen this behaviour before though.

sometimes it takes a couple minutes for the newly set default description to filter through to the other editions. but i went through and manually updated the worst. should be good to go now.

Thanks. Now that you mention it, I've seen that too, but I didn't change the default, just applied it to that edition. When it didn't change, I left it as is, in case staff wanted to take a look at why not. But thank you for fixing the editions anyway (I don't even have the book, was just looking at it because it was first in my recommendations today, and I didn't recognise it :)
