Vikings is fine with me. I can't think of too many things that start with a V. And since everyone is using ship/pirate themed names, Vikings works.

Sounds good to me. Doubt I'll come up with anything better...

The only feminine "V" word that comes to mind is Valkyrie. Vivacious Valkyries? I'm good with whatever though. All the suggestions are nice.

Okay, I will be creating the "secret" group tomorrow after I get home from work. I want to give everyone a chance of having a say in our name.

Karla, you may set up a secret team and go by your letter name, then still be able to change the name of your group later. This way everyone can start getting "on-board."

Be sure your team's settings are set to "private" and don't forget to invite me!

So question about the rules. Do we need to read our books before friday for them to count when we are firing? I am a little foggy on the rules and want to make sure I am contributing appropriately :)

Shiela, I believe that once we are fired upon, we have one week to read. So we'll be fired on tomorrow at noon and then we'll have until next thursday, midnight, to read that genre.

Also, Sheila, did you get an invite to our private group? It's called "BBB Team V" for now until everyone votes on a name. You have to accept Karla's friend invite first, then she can invite you. I think only 4 of us are in the group right now, so we are missing 3.

Sheila, I understood it the same way as Jaclyn. The rules FAQ is very specific that it's midnight of the night before, I believe we're going by PST.

As far as time considerations, both the “Mission Control” and “Firing On” or Challenging Another Team threads have hyperlinks to an international clock - so you may see when those times are in your area.
