(view spoiler)[ Carina always has an impact on her immediate surroundings. Laughing and entertaining with a blunt and earthy humor, she loves to be the center of attention. Carina keeps her conversation energetic, with a good dose of intelligence, but she likes to talk about what is – or better yet, to just go out and do it. Carina leaps before she looks, fixing her mistakes as she goes, rather than sitting idle, preparing.
Carina lives in the moment and dives into the action – she is the eye of the storm. Carina enjoys drama, passion, and pleasure, not for emotional thrills, but because it's so stimulating to her logical mind. She is forced to make critical decisions based on factual, immediate reality in a process of rapid-fire rational stimulus response.
This makes school a challenge for Carina. It certainly isn't because she isn't smart, and she can do well, but the regimented, lecturing approach of formal education is just so far from the hands-on learning that Carina enjoys. It takes a great deal of maturity to see this process as a necessary means to an end, something that creates more exciting opportunities.
Also challenging is that to Carina, it makes more sense to use her own moral compass than someone else's. Rules were made to be broken. But if they minimize the trouble-making, harnesses her energy, and focuses through the boring stuff, Carina has the potential to be a force to be reckoned with.
Carina has a unique skill in noticing small changes. Whether a shift in facial expression, a new clothing style, or a broken habit, Carina picks up on hidden thoughts and motives where most types would be lucky to pick up anything specific at all. She uses these observations immediately, calling out the change and asking questions, often with little regard for sensitivity. She doesn't normally remember that not everyone wants their secrets and decisions broadcast.
Sometimes Carina's instantaneous observation and action is just what's required, especially in emergencies. If Carina isn't careful though, she may get too caught in the moment, take things too far, and run roughshod over more sensitive people, or forget to take care of her own health and safety.
Carina is full of passion and energy, complimented by a rational, if sometimes distracted, mind. Inspiring, convincing and colorful, she is a natural group leader, pulling everyone along the path less traveled, bringing life and excitement everywhere she goes. Personality Strengths
(view spoiler)[ Carina is bold. She is full of life and energy. There is no greater joy for her than pushing boundaries and discovering and using new things and ideas. Carina is rational and practical. She loves knowledge and philosophy, but not for her own sake. What's fun for her is finding ideas that are actionable and drilling into the details so she can put them to use. If a discussion is completely arbitrary, there are better uses for Carina's time.
Carina is original. Combining her boldness and practicality, she loves to experiment with new ideas and solutions. She puts things together in ways no one else would think to. Carina is perceptive. This originality is helped by her ability to notice when things change – and when they need to change! Small shifts in habits and appearances stick out to Carina and she uses these observations to help create connections with others.
Carina is direct. This perceptive skill isn't used for mind games – Carina prefers to communicate clearly, with direct and factual questions and answers. Things are what they are.
She is sociable. All these qualities pull together to make a natural group leader in Carina. This isn't something that she actively seeks – Carina just has a knack for making excellent use of social interactions. (hide spoiler)]
Personality Weakness
(view spoiler)[ Carina is a bit insensitive. Feelings and emotions come second to facts and "reality" for her. Emotionally charged situations are awkward, uncomfortable affairs, and Carina's blunt honesty doesn't help here. She often has a lot of trouble acknowledging and expressing her own feelings as well. Carina can be impatient. She moves at her own pace to keep herself excited. Slowing down because someone else "doesn't get it" or having to stay focused on a single detail for too long is extremely challenging for Carina.
Carina is risk-prone. Her impatience can lead Carina to push into uncharted territory without thinking of the long-term consequences. Carina sometimes intentionally combats boredom with extra risk. Carina is unstructured. When she sees an opportunity – to fix a problem, to advance, to have fun – and she seizes the moment, often ignoring rules and social expectations in the process. This may get things done, but it can create unexpected social fallout.
Carina may at times miss the bigger picture. Living in the moment can cause her to miss the forest for the trees. Carina loves to solve problems here and now, perhaps too much. All parts of a project can be perfect, but the project will still fail if those parts do not fit together. Carina is defiant. She refuses to be boxed in. Repetition, hardline rules, sitting quietly while she is lectured at – this isn't how Carina lives her life. She is action-oriented and hands-on. Earliest Memory - Age One and a Half, Scorpius's Nickname

The earliest memory Carina remembers, or feels she remembers because of how often it's told is the time she nicknamed her older brother.
Astoria and Draco were sitting in their home, Malfoy Manor, which was given to them as a wedding gift by Narcissa. Lucius was in Azkaban and Narcissa didn't see the need to live in such a big house, so she gave it to the newlyweds, downsizing and moving to a cottage. Anyways, Draco and Astoria were lounging in the sitting room, The rain hitting against the large window. The fire was blazing and Carina was bouncing in her father's lap, a huge grin on her face.
"Daddy! I want up!" Scorpius exclaimed, trying to receive attention from his father.
"In a minute, Scorpius," Draco said, distracted by Carina. Draco had a huge grin on his face as he played with his daughter.
Scorpius started to whine when Astoria plucked him off of the ground, placing him on her hip.
"I WANT DADDY!" He yelled, trying to reach towards his father while in his mother's arms. Scorpius's voice echoed off of the walls.
Carina, intrigued by the loud noise of her brother, looked at what was going on. She frowned. "Scurpee mad," she said loudly, then started to laugh.
"Mummy, Cari called me Scurpee. That's not my name!" He complained, still in his mother's arms. Scorpius had stopped wiggling now, a bit upset about his new name.
"Well it seems she did," Astoria laughed. She swapped children with her husband and planted a kiss on Carina's cheek.
"My smart girl," she whispered. Carina's head rested on her mother's shoulder, and she drifted off to sleep. (hide spoiler)]

Dragon Heartstring - dragon heartstring is a powerful wand with a lot of magical "heft". It is not the core for subtlety, but for sheer power it is definitely the best. Although it is the most common core among Dark Wizards, Dark Wizards are most certainly not their most common users. Dragon Heartstrings are by far the most common wand core amongst Slytherins , but their power often bonds to Gryffindors and Ravenclaws as well. However, they tend to overwhelm the archetypal Hufflepuff personality.
Wand Wood:
Ash is slightly associated with the Dark Arts, as the ash tree has said to 'strangle' the plants around it. It does excel at Dark Magic, but is also good for Transfiguration. They also tend to bond to good Diviners
