Way too fictional and not enough T&Z. I half expected ghosts and Scoobydo. Oh well I will reread to see if I like it better.

Yeah. It's like awww... Can wait for their (view spoiler) .

I never expect this series to be particularly stylistically perfect or the plot to always to be entirely logical but I read them for the relationships and character, which in my view are well drawn and believable.

Glad you loved it!
I've reread all of the books now, including B&C. It is still probably my least favorite but certainly has grown on me. Fish and Chips was also one I didn't care all that much for and again it has grown on me. At first I couldn't get in to Ty playing the blonde bimbo but after the reread I saw how amusing it must have been for Zane and how fun for Ty. Like most books when you read a second time (or even third) they get better. My favorites still have to be Cut and Run and Touch and Geaux. I think I just like the characters of T & Z. I find them so lifelike that while reading I forget that it is fiction.

The first one...C & R...I thought that one was powerful. Totally hooked me on Ty and Zane. Loved the way the characters played off one another and the sexual, as well as personal, tension between them. Very hot.
Stars and Stripes was a fun ride too. Like I said the more I read them the better I like all of them.

I was a bit nervous to read it because of the mixed reviews.
I personally didn't think it was the best but by no means did I mean to make anyone think it wasn't worth the read. It's just in the C&R series it isn't one of my favorites but it is still heads above most reads in this genre. Abby knows how to write.

Yay! Glad you like it man.

For me, it's not as bad as the others think. Maybe they were disappointed a little bit because Touch & Geaux was powerful. I felt that but I don't resent the book. And I don't mind the addition of Nick & Kelly here, I like them and they scenes in the book are not that many like the others have said.
I think Ms. Roux is holding back a little for the final books. Can't wait for the final ones!
